Washington – Unlocking America’s Future (UAF) is launching new ads as part of its campaign to expose that the greedy corporations behind ESG bans are the same forces at play in Project 2025, a blueprint for a potential Trump administration to drastically restrict investors and pension fund managers’ freedom to choose where their money goes at the detriment to taxpayers and retirees. The new ad targets voters in Georgia, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, who, according to recent polling, are more likely to move to opposing ESG bans when they learn about the ties to Project 2025.
A recent survey conducted by Hart Research as part of UAF’s second phase of the campaign found that when voters learn of this coordinated scheme, opposition to ESG bans increases and intensifies voters’ perception that the people behind ESG bans are dangerous. The campaign’s first phase included opposition research that outlined how the authors of Project 2025 are also shadow actors of the Big Oil agenda and the anti-ESG movement.
“American voters deserve to know that greedy corporations and their extremist henchmen are behind Project 2025 and only care about lining their own pockets no matter the cost to taxpayers and retirees,” said Kyle Herrig, spokesperson for Unlocking America’s Future. “This new ad makes clear that the shadow authors of Project 2025 are not concerned with helping Americans protect their financial security and instead are prioritizing an assault on people’s rights and freedoms at the expense of our economy and environment.”
